These are extremely high quality short roots grown in Wisconsin. They are at least 8 year-old roots. Short roots are deemed better than long roots mainly because long roots can easily be imitated by cheaper imported Chinese or Syberian ginsengs. Also a short root looks better. They look better when you give them away as gifts. I have seen ginseng sold for almost $10 a pound. But the quality is extremely poor. Our quality of course is extremely superior. The taste is great and extremely strong. Great for making soups and traditional herbal remedies.

Tea Cuts

The tea cuts are made from whole short roots as shown above. They have been cut to around 2 mm thick so that you can throw them in hot water like a tea bag.
